So I was reading this book called Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek. The lessons from reading the first two chapters have brought me lessons simple yet but really important.

Building a culture that last requires injecting empathy and trust to the people you are leading on. Leading isn't entirely for the sake of recognition, awards, or whatsoever. It is catering to the well being and the needs of the people.

I will be continuing to read this book and hoping to learn more about effective leadership.
